Since 2004 Turks and Caicos Islands have proudly presented the annual Conch Festival, a celebration of TCI’s national symbol and number 1 export, the conch. On Saturday, November 25, from noon to 7 P.M., throngs of residents and tourists will converge in the enchanting Blue Hills neighborhood of Providenciales, right by the Three Queen’s Bar and Restaurant to enjoy live, authentic island music by local bands, conch-blowing demonstrations, a dominoes tournament, and a raffle that offers up a long list of spectacular prizes. The main draw amid all the revelry is, of course, the food. Restaurateurs from across TCI will be on-site to serve an array of conch cuisine sure to delight even the most discerning palates. At the end of the evening, the finest of the chefs will be declared the winner of this year’s Conch-Edition competition, as judged by select attendees and a panel of expert gourmands.
Location: Blue Hills area of Providenciales, adjacent to the Three Queen’s Bar & Restaurant
