Families across the United States and surrounding territories are pulling up chairs and strapping on bibs for a sumptuous dinner of turkey, sweet potato, and greens. Meanwhile, the local chefs of Turks and Caicos invite you to a wholly different taste that is being pulled straight from the Atlantic Ocean.
Now in its 13th year, the Turks and Caicos Conch Festival will be held on November 26th beginning at 11am. This beachside event can be found in at the 3 Queens Bar & Restaurant in Blue Hills. In addition to the surf and spray, talented bartenders will be slinging tropical cocktails and refreshing libations.
This day-long culinary excursion into fried, battered, and sautéed sea snail includes a taste contest, challenging sloop sailing race, a ridiculous amount of food, and a handful of live musicians. In other words, there’s going to be good vibes and conch blowing in equal parts.
